There is only one problem I had with reading this book…..I really wanted to save it as one my beach reads! I have absolutely loved this series and I immediately think of how much I’d love to read this in a chair on the beach with the waves crashing as my background music. Alas, this series may possibly get a reread over my summer vacation!
I absolutely loved the message in this story: Second chances can lead to beautiful things. In this case, Adam Stone in seeking a second chance after having messed up a lot in his life. However, he’s determined to make things right and to succeed. Lexie Graham meets Adam Stone and realizes that not only is he rather handsome, but she could utilize his knowledge in trying to help the local youth who are headed down the wrong path.
I really enjoyed that Irene Hannon took two seemingly unlikely people and made their paths cross. The book captaures readers from the very beginning and is one that is not easy to set aside. I once heard an author say, “Our goal is to make the reader never set it down.” Hannon accomplished this goal, as I only had to set it down to take care of the family. However, I was quick to pick it back up again during any spare moment!
I received this book free from Revell Publishers in exchange for my honest opinion of this book.
